Counselling
How
can counselling help?
There are times in all our lives when we can experience sadness, stress,
anxiety and confusion. This can be triggered by specific events such as
divorce, separation, bereavement, panic attacks, health or work issues
etc or can simply be as a result of daily stresses becoming too much. At
times such as these, counselling offers a safe place where you can
explore these issues in a warm, supportive and non-judgemental
environment. Counselling will offer you the opportunity
to find a way forward through your difficulties, to enhance the quality
of your life and empower you to take back control. At all times
throughout the counselling period you will be assured of
absolute discretion.

and worries

feel and act

Work with you to find your own solutions
-
Support you at all times; challenge you when
necessary
-
Enable you to become empowered to act
independently in your own best interests
How
many sessions will I need?
Each session lasts for 50 minutes once a week. It is difficult to know
from the outset how many sessions will be required as each individual’s
needs are unique. However, usually six sessions are initially agreed and
then this is reviewed, with an option for more if required.
